FAQs
COTTAGES & ROOM AMENITIES
What are the differences between the Cottage types, and how far are they from the beach and main facilities?
The main differences between each Cottage type are the sea and sunset views, access to a private plunge pool, and proximity to the beach.
Our Beachfront Sanctuary Pool Cottages are our most premium option, offering maximum privacy, larger indoor-outdoor living space, and uninterrupted ocean views.
Our Plunge Pool Cottages are nestled in tropical gardens just steps from the beach, combining privacy with beach access and outdoor showers.
The Sunset Beachfront Rooms offer sweeping ocean views and are ideal for guests seeking a romantic, elevated Caribbean experience without a plunge pool.
All accommodations are located along the beachfront, and no unit is more than a minute or two from the shore. For proximity to the central facilities like the front desk or restaurant, we recommend viewing the Property Map to help you choose the location that best suits your preferences.
What is the approximate size of each Cottage, and what furniture is included?
Each room at Keyonna Beach offers generous indoor and outdoor living space, with our Sunset Beachfront Rooms measuring around 840 square feet, the Plunge Pool Cottages approximately 820 square feet, and our Beachfront Sanctuary Pool Cottages over 1,200 square feet.
All feature a king-size four-poster bed with mosquito netting, a writing table, full-length mirror, and bedside tables with lamps.
Sunset Beachfront Rooms include a private verandah or balcony with Adirondack chairs and a table. Our Cottages offer more expansive outdoor areas, including a private plunge pool, sundeck with loungers and umbrella, Adirondack chairs, and a hammock. Outdoor showers are included in all Cottage types and are surrounded by tropical foliage for privacy.
All cottages and rooms include a private Bali bed reserved for you on the sands of Turner’s Beach, just steps from the waves, with discreet service throughout the day.
Can I request a specific room or Cottage in advance?
While you’re welcome to share your preferences, we’re unable to guarantee specific room assignments. To ensure each guest enjoys an uninterrupted stay in one accommodation, we allocate rooms based on arrival and departure patterns. In some cases, guaranteeing a specific room would require us to move other guests mid-stay, which isn’t a guest experience we ever want to create. We therefore ask for your understanding if we are unable to accommodate your request. In rare cases, last-minute maintenance issues may also require room changes. Rest assured, we’ll always do our best to honor your preferences wherever possible.
Are the outdoor showers completely private?
Yes – each Cottage features a private outdoor shower that is open to the sky but enclosed by privacy walls and tropical foliage, offering seclusion and a natural, romantic atmosphere.
What amenities are provided in each Cottage — such as air conditioning, Wi-Fi, safe, toiletries, hairdryer, iron, or adaptors?
All rooms are air-conditioned and include complimentary Wi-Fi, an in-room safe, and a hairdryer. Bathrooms are stocked with soap, bath gel, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, toilet paper, facial tissue, hand sanitizer, and mosquito repellent.
Beachfront Sanctuary Pool Cottages include an iron and ironing board, and these are available on request for all other room types.
Power outlets are 110v with North American 3-pin sockets, so guests from the UK or Europe should bring appropriate adapters.
What’s included in the minibar?
Each room has a small refrigerator stocked daily with bottled water and a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, based on your preferences at check-in.
Tea, instant coffee, and an electric kettle are included, and a coffee maker with brewed coffee is available on request.
Complimentary house Champagne or wine can also be placed in your room prior to arrival upon request — just contact our reservations team in advance.
Do the rooms include a television?
No – our rooms are intentionally TV-free. At Keyonna Beach, we encourage guests to unplug, reconnect with nature, and enjoy a slower pace of life. You’re welcome to stream content on your own device using the complimentary Wi-Fi if you wish, but most guests tell us they don’t miss the screen time.
Can the room accommodate more than two people, or be configured with twin beds or an extra bed?
Due to the couples-focused nature of the resort, each room is designed to accommodate two adults only, with one king-size four-poster bed. Twin bed setups or additional beds are not available.
Can I upgrade my booking and what are the costs involved?
Room upgrades may be possible, depending on availability. If you’re interested in upgrading, please contact our reservations team — they’ll be happy to walk you through the options and any associated costs.
Are any of the Cottages suitable for guests with limited mobility or who use a wheelchair?
Keyonna Beach is not a wheelchair-accessible property. Due to the natural landscape and layout of the resort, we are unfortunately unable to accommodate guests who require step-free or fully accessible facilities.
If in doubt, please contact our reservations team so that we can ensure Keyonna Beach is a suitable choice for you, and if so, guide you in the best room choice.
ALL-INCLUSIVE DINING & DRINKS
Are all drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) part of the all-inclusive menu?
Yes, Keyonna Beach rates are inclusive of all alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
Can I book a lower rate without alcohol, or choose breakfast-only or room-only options?
No — Keyonna Beach is an all-inclusive resort, and all stays include your room, all meals, snacks, and both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
For guests seeking a bed-and-breakfast experience, our nearby sister property, Conch Beach Cabins, may be a better fit.
How many restaurants are there, and is food served buffet-style or à la carte?
Keyonna Beach has one restaurant.
The restaurant is a multi-tiered, open-air facility that is large enough to accommodate all guests at the same time with the hotel 100% occupied.
All meals and snacks at the resort are served a la carte by waiters.
Can you accommodate special dietary needs such as vegan, kosher, or gluten-free?
Yes, we can accommodate a range of dietary needs including vegan, vegetarian, kosher, gluten-free, lactose-intolerant, pescatarian, and halal. Please inform us of your dietary preferences when you check in so we can tailor meals accordingly.
Is tipping expected, and how can I leave a tip for the staff?
Tipping is not required but always appreciated. You’re welcome to tip directly, leave something at the front desk, or request to have a tip added to your bill at checkout.
Can larger groups dine together at the restaurant?
Keyonna Beach is an intimate, couples-focused resort, and our restaurant is designed to preserve that relaxed, romantic atmosphere. As such, the maximum table size we can accommodate is four guests, and we do not offer group seating. We kindly ask for your understanding, as this policy helps maintain the quiet, private dining experience our guests expect.
BOOKINGS & ARRIVALS
Keyonna Beach is adults-only and couple-focused - what should I know before booking?
All guests must be 18 years or older, and each room must be occupied by two adults. “Couple” simply means any two adults, regardless of gender or relationship — you don’t need to be married or romantically involved. Friends and family members are welcome, but we do not accept single or triple occupancy. All rooms feature one king-size, four-poster bed and cannot be configured with separate beds.
Are pets allowed, and what is your smoking policy?
Pets are not permitted at the resort. Smoking is allowed only in designated outdoor areas.
Do room rates shown include taxes and airfare, and is prepayment required?
All rates shown on our website include taxes and service charges. Airfare is not included. A 30% deposit is required to confirm your reservation, the balance is taken upon your arrival.
What is your cancellation policy, and what happens if I can’t travel due to illness or a hurricane?
Cancellations made more than 30 days before arrival are fully refundable. For cancellations less than 30 days prior, a 30% penalty applies. No shows, early departures, or cancellations after arrival will incur a 50% charge.
Pre-booked extras may be cancelled at any time without penalty.
If you’re unable to travel due to a hurricane, storm-related disruption, or government-imposed travel or border restrictions, cancellation is penalty-free. You can choose to receive a refund or credit your deposit toward a future stay.
If illness prevents you from traveling, please send a physician’s note to our Reservations team. While standard penalties apply, we review all cases individually and always aim to be fair and flexible.
Which airport should I fly into, and where is the hotel located?
You should fly into VC Bird International Airport (ANU) in Antigua. Keyonna Beach is about a 45-minute drive from the airport, located on the island’s west coast along the calm Caribbean Sea.
Is there a shuttle service from the airport? What is the best way to get to the hotel?
We do not offer a shared shuttle service. Private transfers can be arranged through our reservations team for $90 USD one-way and $180 USD round trip. These are operated by trusted local partners in air-conditioned SUVs or vans. Your driver will meet you just outside the arrivals hall with a sign bearing your name, and confirmation details will be sent in advance. Taxis are also available at the airport at similar rates, but for a smoother arrival, we recommend pre-booking your transfer.
What time is check-in and check-out, and can I arrive early or leave late?
Check-in is from 3:00 PM AST, and check-out is at 12:00 PM AST. Early check-ins and late check-outs may be requested but are subject to availability. While we can’t guarantee them in advance, we always do our best to accommodate you whenever possible.
